I was inspired to make this bowl when I noticed the wave's squiggly marks left in the sand on Fidar's beach in Lebanon. It was a glorious, happy day and this is a way of marking it. I had just had a delicious, warm, loving family lunch and the Fidar pieces are a way of capturing that memory.
Sophia one of my clients asked me to add a little bird to the plain Fidar I made, hence the name 😊
En souvenir d'un déjeuner, pieds dans l’eau, en décembre dernier au Liban, une journée exquise sur une plage qui s’appelle Fidar.
A la find du repas j’ai été me balader sur la plage et je regardais les marques de l’écume laisse sur le sable et ca ondulait comme ca alors j’ai decide d’en faire un bol quand je suis rentre.
Je me disais que la nature fait de si beaux mouvements et elle est plein de vie, ca m’a inspire. Et voila :)
